I have a weird issue with my new Windows 8 RTM installation on my MacBook Pro: The taskbar icons including the ones in the notification area are blurry.
For the taskbar, it is only when the program is open that the icon is blurry.
When the programs are
closed, then the pinned programs icons appear fine.
The icons on the desktop also appear perfectly sharp.
It is only when there is a Chrome/Spotify/Skype/Thunderbird window open, that the icons are totally blurry and pixelated.
I installed the graphics drivers
provided by apple, so this should be fine.
I can't remember having those issues with the preview versions.
What is the deal here?

Update: The Windows native programs icons are fine (IE, File Explorer, Control Panel icons).
I suppose this is some problem that the third party programs seem to have.
Maybe they didn't provide correct icons for Windows 8?

Update 2: Visual Studio 2012 Express also shows a blurred icon.
So I guess there is something else going on.

Update 3: I changed the size of all items to 100 percent under Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display.
Now all items are sharp (but smaller of course).
Quite odd because the 125 percent seems to be the standard setting.

Can anyone confirm this?
