Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 and Windows 7

I have been using my Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 with my Lenovo SL500 running Vista and recently replaced my harddrive and installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit and now I cannot get my mouse to work.
Windows recognized it and tried
to load drivers, but the mouse does not repsond, even though it loaded and shows that it is working properly.

Get the new BlueTooth driver (and others) for Windows 7 here for the SL500.
You definitely should
update the BIOS and get the other updates.

Manually editing the Windows registry

Caution: Unless you an advanced PC user, please do not edit the Windows registry manually.
