How to Resolve - Adding new hard drive causes windows not to start now?

Adding new hard drive causes windows not to start now

ok ill be as specific as possible here

ive always had a few hard drives in my computer at any one time

a few days ago i was having problems with my windows 7 install that i put down to installing while i had all my hard drives connected at the time of install.

so 2 days ago i decided to start fresh again with a windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.
i also bought a new OCZ SSD 64gig just for my OS.

i disconnected all my hard drives except the SSD and completed a full install of windows 7 and everything worked fine first go again.
i then started shutting my computer down and adding one hard drive at a time and re booting and making sure the drive letters came back how i have had them over my previous builds and changing them were nessisary.

i installed my 5 hard drives in this matter and the computer restarted fine and all was perfect untill!

hard drives installed
1.
SSD 64gb
2.
1.5TB storage
3.
1.5TB storage
4.
320GB movies
5.
320GB games

i copied everything of hard drive 4.
movies(only movies and music files) onto hard drive 3.
then i removed hard drive 4 and replaced it with a brand new 1.5TB hard drive and restarted the computer
the computer started fine and once loaded windows i coppied the movies and music back to the new 1.5TB hard drive.

now i had

hard drives installed
1.
SSD 64gb
2.
1.5TB storage
3.
1.5TB storage
4.
1.5TB movies
5.
320GB games

this is were the problem started.
i rebooted my computer and it would not start.
it gets to the realteck message and just a cursor flashes and stays like this permanently.

if i remove the sata cable from the back of the hard drive 4 the computer starts fine
i can plug the cable back in just before the windows screen comes up and the hard drive works fine and is accesable and everything.
but leaving it plugged in during the boot the computer wont start at all

things i have tried, i have made sure all my boot priorities point to the SSD drive

i have turned of all other boot devices and only have the hard drive with the OS selected
ive made sure all the drive letters are correct on each drive
ive tried booting with the windows 7 CD in and i get to the repair section and click on the start up repair tool, it recconises their is a problem but informs me it cant be fixed automaticly and asks if i want to send the info to microsoft (wich i do).

this is really got me this one any help will be wondefull and thanks in advance

just incase ill leave my system specs

EVGA X58 mobo
INTEL i7 940
6GB corsair ram
all the hard drives you know
1000 watt PSU
2 X  PALIT 295 GTX but SLI is not connected at the moment
