How to Fix Error - Application hang resulting system administration failure?

Application hang resulting system administration failure

I have this online game client Cabal Online that I run without problems for more than a year on my computer.
Lately however it's been causing me system errors that is rather critical from my point of view.

Here's what happens.
About 3 weeks ago when I run this application there seems to be a corrupted file and the game won't start.
I repatched the application data and it worked for a week, after that the situation worsens.
Now, whenever I run the program,
it successfully runs the patch update, executes the INCA GameGuard rootkit, and the computer freezes.
The application will open up a window which immediately goes into Not Responding state, and I have to terminate the program.
Here's where it gets serious.

When I right click on desktop, trying to refresh, it goes into freeze state; the loading ring keeps turning and the computer won't respond.
Then if I right click again, the desktop dims and Windows error reporting indicates explorer.exe has stopped responding
bla bla bla.
When I press "close the program", explorer.exe closes, but will not restart.
Even after I ran through ALT+CTRL+DEL to call out task manager trying to execute it from there, it won't respond.

Here's some other troubles I found while exploring the problem.
They started to happen after I run the game client and it completes executing the rootkit update check.

**Any double clicks on any desktop icons requiring administrator privilege will freeze the computer.
**Any clicks on taskbar icons will not result in response.
**Windows Start Button calls out an empty interface: All programs does not list anything, typing a program name in the "search program and file" box returns no response, any clicks on any other links, ie Control Panel, Computer, Documents etc will cause
the computer to freeze.
**Instead of it's usual icon, the Favorites Tab (if I did not close the previous explorer interface after executing the game application) will instead show white page icons for Desktop, Downloads, Recent Places tab.
Any clicks on these tabs freeze the
computer.
**If my guess is right after troubleshooting the problem till now, almost all tasks and processes that requires administrator privileges will freeze the computer.
**The computer however do respond to ALT+CTRL+DEL.
It can lock the computer, log off, switch user, even running task manager, but there's no going back into the account after logging off.
Logging in again via this method will bring me to the wallpaper,
and the computer won't respond no longer.
**Other concurrent running programs such as Google Chrome will not be affected, I can still run them if they are previously executed, however they will not longer be able to run when I minimize the program.
**Restarting the computer or shutting down the computer does not return a response.
In simpler terms, I cannot restart nor shut down the machine.
The only way to do it is either to turn off the main plug or force shut down with the power button.
Any other
methods won't work.

Until now, all the above problems only happen when I run this particular Cabal Online Client.
I am not sure if the rootkit is the problem, considering that I do have other games that uses the same rootkit application and never encounter these errors.
The
client also runs perfectly fine on my other Windows 7 notebook machine.

Viewing Event Viewer throws very limited light on the issue, apart from a logged instance of explorer.exe failing, the Windows Error Reporting in running and stopped state, and the critical error from Kernel about the force shut down.

Here's what I got from Action Center:
