Can't get into mail.live.com

I have been unable to get into my Windows mail.live account - mail.live.com does not boot up and is timed out by the browser. Have tried Firefox, I.E.
and Bing. Also unable to get into Hotmail - same problem with browsers. This has happened for the
past 3 days ( it's now Nov 26 ). All other pages, sites, programs work OK.

· Have you made any recent changes on the computer before the issue occurred?

I suggest that you try booting the computer in Safe mode and check if you are able to boot the computer in Safe Mode, safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers.
Startup programs do not run in safe mode, and only the basic drivers
needed to start Windows are installed, follow the steps to boot the computer in safe mode with networking:
i.
Restart the computer.
ii.
Start tapping F8 key.
iii.
You will get advanced boot option window.
iv.
Select the option “Safe mode with Networking.”
Now check if you are able to access the website, if the issue still persists, then I suggest that you try disabling the firewall temporarily on the computer and check if you can get access to website.
Ensure to enable the firewall on the computer back.
If the issue still persists, then I would suggest that you check the settings for the internet explorer on the computer, follow the steps in the link to optimize the settings of the internet explorer:

If you failed to fix it, another option is to call Microsoft and walk through the process with a technician. To do this, dial "1-800-936-5700". Explain the error that you received and the steps in the update process during which it was displayed. The technician will be able to walk through the steps from getting a new product key to finishing the installation.
